I am happy to say that despite whatever challenges, the ESP LAB and I made it through the past year! Huzzah! Huzzah.  It was a year of the tiger which some say is a vicious year.  2023 is the year of the Water Rabbit, which starts on the Chinese New Moon of January 22nd, 2023 (Chinese New Year), and ending on February 9th, 2024 (Chinese New Year’s Eve). The softer sign of the bunny is a symbol of peace, prosperity, and longevity… along with fertility.  Let it be a better year for all of us.  2023 is predicted to be a year of hope.

History of Christmas

Christmas is celebrated on December 25 and is both a sacred religious holiday and a worldwide cultural and commercial phenomenon. For two millennia, people around the world have been observing it with traditions and practices that are both religious and secular in nature. Christians celebrate Christmas Day as the anniversary of the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, a spiritual leader whose teachings form the basis of their religion. Popular customs include exchanging gifts, decorating Christmas trees, attending church, sharing meals with family and friends and, of course, waiting for Santa Claus to arrive. December 25—Christmas Day—has been a federal holiday in the United States since 1870.
