MERCURY is slipping RETROGRADE!                                                                            An astro comment by Sami Merlyn

The planet Mercury– which rules the mind, communication, business, & transportation– will go on another vacation and this one from 8:52 am, Jan 30th to 5:52 pm Feb 20th, 2021

It is time to move into plod mode and stay that way.  It takes perseverance but you can do it! We can do it!!  We can get through this! As Al would say, “This too shall pass.”

Actually, Mercury Retrograde is a good opportunity to slow down a little and be centered in the peace and love of the Divine.

                                             PEACE, POWER, PROTECTION NOW

              By Sami MERLYN, DD

Wow—it has been some challenging times for us folks on planet earth with economic, health, and political challenges.  We have all been impacted.  Of course, we want to do our best to limit the negative energy from harming us personally and minimize its influences.  Time to “put on the whole armor of God.”

Let us continue on our spiral of growth as we meditate, pray, affirm and keep our auras and chakras bright with light!  Let’s tune in!  Let’s hold positive constructive thoughts to transcend any pain or suffering we might experience—as we accept Good Fortune as our law of life!  Here is Al Manning’s gnostic magick chant for transforming the negative into the positive.

You’ll Be Able To See Jupiter, Saturn, and Mercury This Weekend

A “conjunction” of planets is when two or planets align in the night sky from Earth’s perspective, and because all the planets in our solar system orbit the Sun at different rates, a conjunction can be quite a rare occurrence—especially a triple conjunction.

The best time to view the triple conjunction is about 30 to 45 minutes after sunset on Jan. 10, however, the planets should be visible after sunset on Jan. 9 and Jan. 11 as well. Jupiter, Saturn, and Mercury will be in their triangular layout low in the southwest sky, so head somewhere with an unobstructed view of the horizon line.

Jupiter will be visible to the naked eye, but both Saturn and Mercury will be on the dimmer side.

Ask and Receive! Turn to the Healing Power of Divine Love!!

My dear friend and brother (in the light) Al Manning and I are both mavericks. We both spent some of our time growing up in Texas and some of it with conservative Christian upbringing. Over time, we both started studying all the religions of the world, and both of us have referred to ourselves as eclectic. Eclectic, “deriving ideas, style, or taste from a broad and diverse range of sources.” I do love the stated dogma of the ESP LAB, “No Dogma!” as it frees us to study as we will. Personally, I claim to have the same religion as the United States of America, “Freedom” to choose.

As a boy of five I was told I had a guardian angel.

JUPITER & SATURN will form the first double planet in 800 years…

JUPITER & SATURN will form the first visible “double planet” in 800 years…

Before 2020 comes to a close, Jupiter and Saturn will be so close that they will appear to form a “double planet.” The great conjunction, as the planetary alignment has come to be known, hasn’t occurred in nearly 800 years.

When their orbits align every 20 years, Jupiter and Saturn get extremely close to one another. This occurs because Jupiter orbits the sun every 12 years, while Saturn’s orbit takes 30 years — every couple of decades, Jupiter laps Saturn, according to NASA.

However, 2020’s conjunction is especially rare — the planets haven’t been observed this close together since medieval times, in 1226.

“Alignments between these two planets are rather rare, occurring once every 20 years or so, but this conjunction is exceptionally rare because of how close the planets will appear to one another,” Rice University astronomer Patrick Hartigan said in a statement.

Winter Solstice is near…!!

Winter Solstice, also known as ‘midwinter” draws nigh…  a time when the sun renews its cycle and “returns.”  In North America, this year, it happens on December 21st at 3:02 am MST in the morning on December 21st, as the sun enters the sign of Capricorn.  Winter Solstice is the day with the shortest period of daylight and with the longest night of the year,  After this important day the days start getting longer, hurray!!  Fire and light are traditional symbols of celebrations held at the darkest time of the year. Since the beginning of time, the winter solstice has been seen as a significant time of year in many cultures, and has been marked by festivals and rituals.  It symbolizes the death and rebirth of the Sun.

The NEW MOON is a Most Magickal Time

The NEW MOON is a most magickal time.  It is a time of setting in motion your new thoughts and wishes that you desire to manifest over the next 28 day lunar cycle. It is also a time for letting go of negativity in your past.
It is said that the MOON MOTHER will grant wishes during the full moon and the three days after.  The new moon is all about creating your new wishes to accomplish with energizing them during the 14 days leading up to the full moon, and accepting your fulfilment as the moon turns full.
An ancient tradition is that the MOON represents the three phases of woman.  When She is new,
She is the virgin… and then as the light of the SUN reaches Her She thrills with fertility.

Be the HERO of your LIFE– Turn to the LIGHT!

Be the Hero of Your Life!

Hi, Greetings of LOVE and Laughter from the mountain top as we wind down the old solar year in preparation for the new fall cycle! Life is like the great ocean… there are sunny days, and stormy days… there are high tides and low tides. Nature is the great teacher and teaches by example. Life is an ebb and a flow!

Autumn is near and then Winter soon follows. Fall a time of Harvest with Fall Equinox and Samhain! These times are for gathering the best as we leave the rest and prepare for a time of colder weather and less light.

Winter is Nature’s time of going within– it is the low end of the life cycle, a time of introspection– good for meditation, planning, and use of that which has been harvested.

Don’t you love life! I hope so! Let’s make it a point to turn in that direction, regardless of Life’s many challenges. As we celebrate the new moon on Earth Day let’s reflect on what Al Manning would always say, “What’s new? Me I am always new and exciting.” Life is all about attitude and the good news is that the Light in increasing on the way toward May Day play and Summer Solstice. With the new moon let us move beyond the old that is no longer useful. Let us celebrate our new beginnings and take the best and leave the rest as we continue on our spiral of growth!!!

One thing that is constant in life is CHANGE! Let’s hope the direction of your change is positive!
