The Al Manning Tapes is Truly Buried Treasure Revealed.

The discovery of The Al Manning Tapes (and a CD) is better than my wildest dreams coming true. That’s because I was hoping to find Al’s old cassette products listed in the old ESP Lab catalog covering topics like improving eyesight, losing weight, healing relationships, etc. A bunch of those were tracked down along with audio cassettes – dozens of them – with cryptic labels such as RS 1-14, CC 1-X, etc.

Popping RS 1 into a tape player that can digitize such recordings on the fly, it seems that RS stands for radio show. Hearing the voice of Al G Manning introduce the audience to “Adventures in Awareness” gave me some chills.

Silly Superstitions are as Old as the Hills. Here’s how to have fun with them.

Today is Friday the 13th and that’s about as funny as silly superstitions get. From Norse mythology to the last supper to a slew of slasher movies, the whole thing has turned into a laugh as it should be. Here’s some perspective. Growing up I often spent time with a wonderful girl named Stephanie. She was a died in the wool horror movie fan and I never quite understood her fascination. She’d laugh as we watched the monkey brains scene in Faces of Death, Freddie Kruger’s soul pizza, Jason doing his thing at Camp Crystal Lake and all the rest. I wasn’t really ever frightened but I wasn’t howling with laughter either.

I’ve been working mostly “behind the scenes” here at ESP Lab since the board unanimously voted me in as treasurer and the president-elect of Spiritual Science and by extension, naturally, ESP Lab back on October 31, 2024.

Before I dive into my thoughts to Give Light, there’s just a little backstory. And introduction for those that don’t know me. My Memorial Day weekend wasn’t much of a holiday but it was a lot of fun with all the Lab work I did. As a faithful Al G. Manning student I wholeheartedly live by his motto “If I can’t have a good time I ain’t going”. That includes going to work on something or to somewhere. It was a total blast completing the milestone task of publishing all of the Al Manning occult courses yesterday.

They probably prefer to call it Vedanta after their scriptures because Hindus is just the name of the river, but it’s an interesting and most ancient religion. As I remember they recognize a good 35 avatars (including Jesus and Mohammad) most all born of a virgin in a cave surrounded by animals and died on a cross. That’s the traditional astrological allegory.

The Hindu Holy Trinity

Quite like Christianity they deny woman a place in the holy trinity – Brahma, Atman & the GodHead are all depicted as male, as are the principle gods, Vishnu (the preserver) & Shiva (the destroyer but the destruction always makes way for something better – a new baby is from Shiva). Long time ago I asked Lord Shiva to manifest to me as a woman so I could make love to her and get used to change.
